Faxsipit ATA’s are devices that convert digital faxes into a format that an analog fax machine is able to print a physical copy.
What you will receive:
The fax box will contain the following accessories:
1 Fax ATA
1 Ethernet cable
1 Telephone cable
1 Power cable
Set up:
Step 1. Plug the ethernet cable from your router or wall jack into the back of the fax ATA.
Step 2. Plug the telephone cable from the Line 1 jack in the back of the fax ATA into the “Line 1” port on your fax machine. Please note that some fax machines have more than one port. Please consult the manual for your fax machine for more information.
Step 3. Plug in the power cord from a wall jack to the ATA. Allow 5 minutes for the ATA to fully boot, and then try to send a fax.
Troubleshooting:
Step 1. Reboot the fax ATA by unplugging the black power cord, and plugging it back in again.
Step 2. If trying to send a fax, check the number you are dialing to make sure a fax machine is answering on the other end.
Step 3. If receiving a fax, check the fax machine for errors, such as paper jams, out of paper, or out of ink.
